Aqualite® is a revolutionary treatment process, developed locally by Osmose®.

Aqualite® is used in conjunction with FramePro™ to treat internal framing timbers to H1.2 level.

The significant benefit of the process is to treat the timber with extremely low uptakes resulting in no significant effect on moisture content, whilst ensuring penetration & retention levels are still met. Due to the low uptakes the timber does not need to be re-dried before going to market.

Aqualite has also been proven to successfully treat radiata pine decking with ACQ®, achieving extremely low up-takes of the liquid preservative during the treatment process, and still complying with the New Zealand standards NZS3640 and Australian standards AS1604 for both penetration and retention.

The significant benefit of this new process is the much improved appearance of the treated product and that the timber does not need to be re-dried before going to market.
